2nd Life Pakistan Acceleration Challenge 2025

Transforming Waste into Opportunity

About the 2nd Life Pakistan

Building on the success of the first iteration of 2nd Life Pakistan, this year’s program expands beyond plastics to include textiles, electronics, construction materials, and paper. Our goal is to support both early-stage startups and those with a proven proof of concept (POC), helping them bring their waste management ideas to life.

Our work brings together industry leaders, academia, and government to drive innovation and sustainability in Pakistan.

What is the Acceleration Challenge?

The 2nd Life Pakistan Acceleration Challenge is a dynamic platform empowering startups and innovators to create impactful solutions for waste circularity. Focusing on areas like plastics, electronics, textiles, construction materials, food waste, and paper, the challenge supports both idea-stage and growth-stage enterprises in reimagining waste as a valuable resource. By enabling innovation, the platform aims to advance sustainable waste management and build a circular economy.

A flagship venture by SEED Ventures and Unilever Pakistan, and now in collaboration with UNDP Pakistan this challenge offers mentorship, acceleration support, and financial prizes to startups with the most promising and sustainable ideas.
