Overview

Atfaal is a pioneering startup dedicated to empowering women in the garment industry while promoting sustainability. By transforming factory leftovers into unique, high-quality children’s apparel, Atfaal is helping create a greener, more inclusive world.

What They Offer:

Women’s Empowerment Through Training & Employment:
Atfaal provides skill development and employment opportunities for women in garment production and upcycling. With our training programs, women are given the tools to become financially independent and actively contribute to sustainable fashion.

Upcycled Fashion for Kids:
We collect leftover fabrics from factories and upcycle them into stylish, eco-friendly clothing items for children, including:

  • T-shirts
  • Trousers
  • Kurtas
  • Frocks

Zero-Waste Approach:
Atfaal is committed to reducing textile waste. We don’t just upcycle clothing; we also use leftover fabric to make:

  • Scrunchies
  • Soft toys

This ensures that every scrap of fabric is reused, contributing to a zero-waste, sustainable model of production.

Why It’s Green:
By reducing textile waste and promoting sustainable practices, Atfaal is making a significant impact on:

  • SDG 5 (Gender Equality): Empowering women through training and employment.
  • SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth): Creating jobs and sustainable livelihoods.
  • SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production): Promoting sustainable fashion and reducing waste.
